Telefónica (BME:TEF), a Spain-based telecoms company, may carry out an IPO for Telxius at the end of September 2016, reported Bloomberg on 30 August 2016, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Specifically, Telefónica could resume the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of shares of Telxius, a Spain-based manager of mobile telephony infrastructure, and expects to make a roadshow with investors from the beginning of September 2016. It is expected Telefónica will confirm in the same period its exact plans for the company, since the IPO details are yet to be decided.

The transaction, with which Telefónica could fetch up to EUR 1.5bn, would value Telxius in approximately EUR 3.5bn.

Telefónica (BME:TEF), empresa española de telecomunicaciones, podría sacar a Bolsa a su filial Telxius a finales de septiembre de 2016, según ha informado Bloomberg el 30 de agosto de 2016, citando a fuentes cercanas al asunto.

En concreto, Telefónica habría retomado la Oferta Pública de Venta (OPV) de Telxius, empresa española de gestión de infraestructuras de telefonía móvil, y espera realizar un roadshow con inversores a partir de inicios de septiembre de 2016. Se espera que Telefónica confirme en el mismo periodo sus planes exactos con la compañía, ya que aún no están decididos todos los detalles de la salida a Bolsa.

La operación, con la que Telefónica podría recaudar hasta EUR 1.500m, valoraría a Telxius en EUR 3.500m aproximadamente.
