Royal Dutch Shell (Euronext Amsterdam/LSE:RDSA), a The Hague, Netherlands-based petrochemical and natural gas producer, is analyzing the sale of refining, transportation, and distribution assets in Argentina, reported Reuters Latin America on 7 September 2016, citing Royal Dutch Shell CEO Ben van Beurden.

The potential sale of downstream assets in Argentina is part of a USD 30bn divestment plan.

Among the assets Shell is revising, there is a refinery in Buenos Aires, nearly 600 service stations, marketing and supply businesses, chemicals, propane or liquefied petroleum gas, sea fuels, fuels for aviation, and lubricant businesses.

A spokesperson for the company ensured upstream assets in the country are not part of the revision.

Royal Dutch Shell (Euronext Amsterdam/LSE:RDSA), productora de petroquímicos y gas natural con sede en La Haya, Países Bajos, está analizando la venta de activos de refinación, transporte y distribución en Argentina, ha publicado Reuters América Latina el 7 de septiembre de 2016, citando al CEO de Shell, Ben van Beurden.

En concreto, la potencial venta de los activos downstream en Argentina forma parte de un plan de desinversiones por USD 30.000m.

Entre los activos que Shell está revisando, se encuentran una refinería de Buenos Aires, casi 600 estaciones de servicio, negocios de comercialización y suministro, químicos, propano o gas de petróleo licuado, combustibles marinos, combustibles para la aviación y negocios de lubricantes.

Un portavoz de la empresa ha asegurado que los activos upstream en el país no son parte de la revisión.
