Glencore (LSE:GLEN), a Switzerland-based mining company, expressed its interest in entering the gas station business in Mexico, reported Bloomberg on 13 March 2017, citing sources familiar with the matter.

According to the report, the company may have signed a 15-year supply agreement with an investment of USD 200m in a joint company with local owners to launch operations in the retail fuel sector.

Glencore would provide 180,000 barrels per day of gasoline and diesel to 1,400 stations, approximately 10% of the country's total, the report stated.

Glencore (LSE:GLEN), minera suiza, habría manifestado su interés en ingresar al negocio de estaciones de gasolina en México, según ha informado Bloomberg el 13 de marzo de 2017, citando fuentes cercanas al asunto.

En concreto, la compañía habría firmado un acuerdo de suministro de 15 años, con una inversión de USD 200m en una empresa conjunta con propietarios locales para iniciar operaciones en el sector del combustible al por menor.
