Chile-based Entel plans to invest USD 2.1bn in the mobile industry in the next three years, as informed by company's general manager Antonio Büchi to newspaper Diario Financiero de Chile, and published on 29 April 2015.

According to the president Juan Hurtado, out of this amount, USD 650m will be used in expanding Peru's operations, increasing its telecommunications infrastructure.

Regarding the investment in Chile, the comapny will invest USD 1.45bn in growth areas, such as Entel Hogar, optic fiber connectivity services to SMEs, and mobile network connectivity, among others.

While this year the investment in Peru will be USD 240m and USD 440m in Chile, of which some 70% (USD 330m) will be for the mobile business.

La compañía chilena Entel tiene previsto invertir USD 2.100m en el negocio móvil en un plazo de tres años, según ha comunicado Antonio Büchi, gerente general de la compañía, al Diario Financiero de Chile el 29 de abril de 2015.

Según su presidente Juan Hurtado, del total, USD 650m se destinará al crecimiento de la operación en Perú, aumentando su infraestructura de telecomunicaciones.

En relación con su inversión en Chile, la compañía espera invertir USD 1.450m en áreas de crecimiento, como Entel Hogar; los servicios de conectividad sobre fibra óptica para empresas medianas y pequeñas, y para la conectividad de sus sitios de red móvil, entre otros.

En cuanto a este año la inversión destinada será de USD 240m en Perú y USD 440m en Chile, de los cuales cerca del 70% (USD 330m) se destinarán al negocio móvil.
