Acciona (BME:ANA), based in Spain, and Enel Green Power (BIT: EGPW ), based in Chile, could carry out acquisitions or mergers with renewable energy companies in Chile, as published by newspaper La Tercera on 5 February 2016.

Several analysts and spokespersons from Chilean renewable energy companies, ERNC, consider that after recent tenders for electricity supply, of October, there are companies that want to divest. Furthermore, there are other international investors that showed interest in possibly becoming buyers of these assets.

On the other hand, sources said that possible sellers could be subsidiaries on foreign groups with financial problems, such as Abengoa (BME: ABG.P; NASDAQ: ABGB) and SunEdison (NYSE:SUNE), among others.

Acciona (BME:ANA), empresa española y la chilena Enel Green Power (BIT: EGPW ), podrían efectuar compras o fusiones de firmas de energía renovable en Chile, según ha informado el diario La Tercera el 5 de febrero de 2016.

Varios analistas y voceros de las empresas chilenas de energías renovables no convencionales, ERNC, han considerado que tras las recientes licitaciones de suministro eléctrico de octubre hay empresas que han manifestado que requieren desinvertir. Ante esta situación, se han manifestado la existencia de otros inversionistas internacionales con capacidad existente en Chile que se han mostrado como candidatos a efectuar estas compras.

Por otra parte, algunas fuentes han manifestado que las posibles vendedoras serían las filiales de grupos extranjeros que tienen problemas financieros, como Abengoa (BME: ABG.P; NASDAQ: ABGB) y SunEdison (NYSE:SUNE), entre otras del sector.
