Davivienda (BVC:DVI), GNB Sudameris (BVC: BSC), Scotiabank Colombia, and CorpBanca Colombia, Colombia-based financial institutions, may be interested in the acquisition of the retail bank unit of Citibank Colombia, reported Portafolio on 10 October 2016.

After the acquisition of the retail bank units of Citibank in Argentina and Brazil, by Banco Santander Río (BCBA:BRIO) and Itaú Unibanco Holding (BVMF:ITUB3; NYSE:ITUB), respectively (see related transactions), now the transaction in Colombia needs to be realized. The retail banking unit is comprised of assets and 665,000 credit cards.

Since February 2016, other banks have expressed interest in Citibank Colombia's retail division (see related intel).

La entidades financieras colombianas Davivienda (BVC: DVI), GNB Sudameris (BVC:BSC), Scotiabank Colombia y CorpBanca Colombia mantendrían el interés de adquirir la banca minorista de Citibank en Colombia, según ha informado Portafolio el 10 de octubre de 2016.

Tras la adquisición de la banca minorista de Citibank en Argentina y Brasil por parte de Banco Santander Río (BCBA:BRIO) e Itaú Unibanco Holding (BVMF:ITUB3; NYSE:ITUB), respectivamente (ver transacciones relacionadas), hace falta concretar las operaciones de Colombia, conformadas por activos y 665.000 tarjetas de crédito.

Desde febrero de 2016, otras entidades bancarias también han manifestado su interés por la división minorista de Citibiank Colombia (ver Intels relacionados).
