Os Correios do Brasil, com sede em Brasília, vão começar a oferecer serviços de telefonia em todo o país a partir de 2017, segundo publicou o Valor Econômico em 17 de maio de 2016. De acordo com a notícia, o serviço será oferecido por meio de uma rede virtual da EUTV Consultoria e Intermediação de Negócios, que venceu uma licitação. Os Correios esitmam uma receita de BRL 4,5 em 2017 com a venda de chips pré-pagos. Ainda de acordo com a publicação, para atuar como empresa de telefonia, os Correios serão credenciados pela EUTV como representante. Para isso, ela também vai precisar de uma licença de operadora móvel de rede virtual, da Anatel - Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações.
