De acordo com a notícia, a partir de 1º de setembro de 2016, Carlos Zarlenga vai substituir a Santiago Chamorro, que promovido a Vice-Presidente de conectividade e relação com o cliente.

Zarlenga ocupava o cargo de Diretor Financeiro (CFO) da GM na América Latina e agora assume toda a operação no Brasil.

The executive Carlos Zarlenga was announced as the new General Motors CEO in Brazil, reported Valor Econômico on 29 August 2016, citing a company statement.

From 1 September 2016, Carlos Zarlenga will replace Santiago Chamorro, who was promoted to Vice President for Connectivity and Customer relations, the report noted.

Zarlenga held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of GM in Latin America and will now lead the entire operation in Brazil.
