Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC), a Buenos Aires, Argentina-based state-owned entity engaged in the regulation of civil aviation, authorized 135 domestic and international air routes requested by low-cost airlines wishing to operate in the Argentine market, reported Reuters Latin America on 13 February 2017. Specifically, ANAC granted routes to Flybondi, Andes Líneas Aéreas, American Jet, Alas del Sur, and Avian Líneas Aéreas. Of these airlines, only Andes is currently operating in the country. The next step is the approval from the Ministry of Transport and, afterward, the airlines will have to show their technical capacity to operate the routes within a three-month period. The Argentine government expects low-cost airlines to invest USD 1.7bn in the next four years, the report stated.

La Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) de Argentina ha autorizado 135 rutas aéreas nacionales e internacionales solicitadas por aerolíneas de bajo costo que desean lanzar operaciones en el mercado argentino, ha publicado Reuters América Latina el 13 de febrero de 2017. En concreto, la ANAC le ha concedido rutas a Flybondi, Andes Líneas Aéreas, American Jet, Alas del Sur y Avian Líneas Aéreas. De esas aerolíneas, solo Andes opera actualmente en el país. El siguiente paso será la aprobación del Ministerio de Transporte y, luego, las aerolíneas deberán demostrar la capacidad técnica para operar las rutas en un plazo de tres meses. El gobierno argentino espera que las aerolíneas de bajo costo inviertan USD 1.700m en los próximos cuatro años, de acuerdo con la información. |
