According to Transactional Track Record's monthly M&A Report, Spain's mergers and acquisitions market closed the first seven months of 2020 with 1,080 transactions and a moved capital of EUR 52.70bn. The report also provides a complete analysis about the most prominent transactions of the cross-border segment, as well as the market's most active sectors, which shows Real Estate remains as the sector with the highest number of deals, with 249 transactions. Meanwhile, both the Private Equity and Venture Capital segments registered a downturn comparing with the previous year. The league tables in the last pages of the report reflect the activity of the legal and financial advisors, based on transactions.

PORTUGAL

De acordo com o Relatório do mês de julho do TTR - Transactional Track Record, o período de janeiro a julio registrou uma redução de 30% no volume de transações em relação ao mesmo período de 2019. O mesmo tipo de análise está disponível nas páginas dedicadas ao Private Equity e ao Venture Capital, onde se observa também um maior volume de investimentos. No âmbito cross-border é possivel identificar os segmentos de atividade mais atrativos para capital estrangeiro, bem como os países de origem dos mesmos.
