Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO) announced the closing of its subsidiaries in Spain, Italy, and Dubai, reported Expansión on 3 February, 2016. The exit from these markets is part of a restructuring plan launched by the company, which will lay off 15% of its staff and sell non-strategic assets, such as patents and properties, to generate EUR 1bn to EUR 3bn in 2016. In late January, Yahoo also announced its exit from Argentina and Mexico (see related intel).

Yahoo (NASDAQ: YHOO) ha anunciado el cierre de sus filiales España, Italia y Dubai, según ha reportado el diario Expansión el 3 de febrero de 2016. La salida de estos mercados forma parte del plan de reestructuración de la compañía, que despedirá al 15% de la plantilla y venderá activos no estratégicos como patentes e inmuebles para generar de EUR 1.000m a EUR 3.000m en 2016.
