YPF (BCBA:YPFD; NYSE:YPF), Argentina state-run oil company and Statoil (OSE: STO), a Norway-based oil company, signed a cooperation agreement to study Argentina's offshore, the company announced in a press release published on 28 October 2016.

YPF CEO Ricardo Darré, and Statoil Vice President of Exploration Tim Dodson, signed the agreement, which includes an area where both companies consider that there may be several prospective hydrocarbon basins of the Salado, Colorado and Argentina.

YPF (BCBA:YPFD; NYSE:YPF), petrolera estatal argentina y Statoil (OSE: STO), petrolera con sede en Noruega, han firmado un acuerdo de cooperación para realizar estudios conjuntos sobre el offshore argentino, según ha informado YPF en un comunicado de prensa publicado el 28 de octubre de 2016.

En concreto, el CEO de YPF, Ricardo Darré, y el vicepresidente ejecutivo de Exploración de Statoil, Tim Dodson, han firmado el acuerdo que comprende una zona donde ambas compañías consideran que pueden existir varios prospectos hidrocarburíferos de las cuencas del Salado, Colorado y Argentina.
