Brazil-based XP Gestão de Recursos, headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, and investment consulting firm Reliance, headquartered in São Paulo, established a partnership agreement to create a new investment fund to be managed by the two companies, according to XP's CEO Patrick O'Grady, as published by Valor Econômico on 1 June 2015. The new fund will operate as an accelerator of new firms, selecting between five and eight companies to invest. In addition to economic support, the fund's includes that startups will also invest their own resources.

A empresa brasileira XP Gestão de Recursos, com sede no Rio de Janeiro, e a consultora de investimentos Reliance, sediada em São Paulo, estabeleceram uma parceira com o objetivo de criar um novo fundo de investimentos que será gerido pelas duas entidades, segundo confirmou o principal executivo da XP Gestão de Recursos, Patrick O´Grady, ao jornal Valor Econômico no dia 1 de junho de 2015. O novo fundo de investimento atuará como uma espécie de aceleradora de novas gestoras, selecionando entre cinco e oito companhias nas quais investir para o seu desenvolvimento. Além do apoio econômico do fundo o plano é que as próprias startups aportem também recursos próprios. |
