Western Union (NYSE: WU), a US-based wire transfer company, confirmed its interest to develop a new digital business in Mexico, as published by newspaper CNN Expansión on 17 February 2016. Western Union decided to focus its strategy on transactions from Mexico to other Central American and South American countries, United States and Asia, mainly China. Rodrigo García, Western Union's CEO, confirmed that Mexico is the type of market to be explored and said it has a great potential.

Western Union (NYSE: WU), empresa estadounidense dedicada al envío de transferencias, ha confirmado que está interesada en desarrollar su nuevo negocio digital en México, según ha publicado el diario CNN Expansión el 17 de febrero de 2016. La empresa estadounidense ha decidido enfocar su estrategia en las transacciones desde México a países de Centroamérica y Sudamérica, Estados Unidos y Asia, en particular China. Rodrigo García, director general de Western Union, ha confirmado que en México este tipo de mercado está sin explorar y asegura que tiene mucho potencial. |
