Walmart México (BMV:WALMEX), a Mexico City-based consumer goods marketing and distribution company, announced the beginning of the sale process of its subsidiary Suburbia, engaged in footwear and clothing sale, in a press release issued on 18 January, 2016. The company stated it will start considering potential bids from third parties for the sale of Suburbia, which is part of Walmart México's strategy to focus on its main business. It added the process is in an early stage and its success cannot be guaranteed. Suburbia has 117 stores located in 44 Mexican cities.

Walmart México (BMV:WALMEX), comercializadora y distribuidora mexicana de productos de consumo, ha anunciado el comienzo del proceso de venta de su filial Suburbia, dedicada a la venta de calzado e indumentaria, en una nota de prensa publicada el 18 de enero de 2016. La empresa ha señalado que empezará a considerar posibles ofertas de terceros para la venta de Suburbia, que forma parte de la estrategia de Walmart México de enfocarse en su negocio principal. Ha añadido que el proceso está en una etapa inicial y no se garantiza que vaya a concretarse. Suburbia cuenta con 117 tiendas ubicadas en 44 ciudades mexicanas. |
