Wallapop, plataforma española de compraventa de artículos de segunda mano, podría estar negociando su venta por más de EUR 370m, según ha informado El Confidencial el 7 de noviembre de 2016, citando a fuentes conocedoras de la operación. Según lo publicado, entre los posibles compradores de la aplicación están algunos de sus competidores internacionales, como la sudafricana Naspers y Shibsted, la multinacional de los clasificados en Europa. Desde su creación en 2013, la empresa ha tenido un buen ritmo de crecimiento pero apenas cuenta con ingresos por la dificultad de monetizar una aplicación creada para el negocio entre los consumidores.
