O empresário Walter Torre tem buscado interessados na compra da participação de 50% da WTorre no shopping JK Iguatemi, em São Paulo, apurou o Valor. O empreendimento custou cerca de R$ 320 milhões, num dos maiores investimentos do setor nos últimos anos, e o seu controle é dividido, em partes iguais, entre a WTorre e a Iguatemi Empresa de Shopping Centers, de Carlos Jereissati.

A Iguatemi tem direito de preferência na compra, segundo acordo de acionistas, e está em negociação com a WTorre para exercer a opção. A empresa dos Jereissati já é a responsável pela gestão do empreendimento. Segundo fontes ouvidas, a WTorre quer entre R$ 800 milhões e R$ 1 bilhão pelos 50%.
