WOM creates alliance with Claro Chile to use its network

WOM, a US-based cell phone company, signed an agreement with Chilean telecommunications company Claro Chile to use its network, which means Claro Chile will supply domestic roaming services to WOM, as published by newspaper Diario Fiananciero on 2 September 2015. This alliance could jeopardize WOM's agreement with Chile-based Entel (SSE:ENTEL), a telecommunications company, and no longer operate with it at the end of 2015. WOM said the alliance only adds one business partner to be able to offer large coverage to its clients.

WOM, empresa estadounidense de telefonía móvil, ha firmado un contrato con la empresa de telecomunicaciones chilena Claro, para poder utilizar su red, es decir para que Claro Chile suministre a WOM servicios de roaming nacional, según ha publicado el periódico Diario Financiero el 2 de septiembre de 2015. Esta alianza podría perjudicar al acuerdo que WOM tiene con la empresa chilena Entel (SSE:ENTEL), compañía de telecomunicaciones y terminar de operar con ella a finales de 2015. WOM ha declarado que la nueva alianza solo suma un socio a su negocio para poder dar mayor y mejor cobertura a los clientes. |
