Vozelia, a Spain-based IP telephone operator, opened its first data center in Panama. The objective is to provide ICT infrastructure management to European customers requiring infrastructure in Latin America and Latin American clients requiring infrastructure in Europe. Vozelia chose Panama for its geographic location, between the US and Mexico in the north and South America in the south, aiming to offer services across the Americas. Vozelia is based in Madrid and grew 70%, in 2014 with a turnover of EUR 1.5m. The company has over 2,000 active clients and increased its workforce by 40% last year.

La empresa española dedicada a la voz ip Vozelia ha abierto su primer centro de procesamiento de datos (CPD) en Panamá. Con dicha plataforma se pretende ofrecer infraestructura TIC tanto a clientes europeos que requieran en Latinoamérica como a clientes latinoamericanos que requieran infraestructura en Europa. La empresa española ha escogido Panamá por su situación geográfica, situado entre EEUU y México por el norte y por el sur sudamérica, con el fin de ofrecer sus servicios por todo el continente americano. Vozelia, con sede en Madrid, ha crecido un 70% en 2014 con una facturación de EU 1,5m. Además cuenta con más de 2.000 clientes activos y aumentó su plantilla en un 40% en el último año. |
