Vitro (BMV: VITROA), a Mexican glass manufacturer, registered a 105.2% increase in its net profit in the first quarter of 2016, compared with the same period last year, as reported by the company through a relevant fact submitted to the Mexican Stock Exchange on 27 April 2016. Specifically, the company registered a profit of USD 48m, and its net sales represent a 14.4% increase, and USD 230m. The company said this improvement was caused by an increase in demand of its fragrances and cosmetics, as well as a demand increase for flat glass for the car and construction markets.

Vitro (BMV: VITROA), empresa mexicana fabricante de vidrio en México, ha incrementado su utilidad neta en un 105,2% durante el primer trimestre de 2016 con respecto al mismo periodo de 2015, según ha informado la compañía en un hecho relevante remitido a la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores el 27 de abril de 2016. En concreto, las utilidades han sido de alrededor USD 48m, y sus ventas netas han representado un aumento del 14,4%, con USD 230m. La compañía ha afirmado que el resultado se debe a la mejora de la demanda en las fragancias y cosméticos, junto con la continua demanda de vidrio plano para los mercados automotor y de construcción. |
