Former president of Novo Banco, Vítor Bento, will return to SIBS (Sociedade Interbancária de Serviços), a company that manages the ATM system, as its chairman, with no executive duties and with lower salary, compared to July 2014, which is when he left SIBS to enter Novo Banco (in excess of EUR 15,000 per month). After he resigned from Novo Banco, due to disagreements with government guidelines that required the sale of the institution as soon as possible, Vítor Bento returned to Banco de Portugal (senior management), where he was administration adviser.

O ex-presidente do Novo Banco, Vítor Bento, vai regressar à SIBS (Sociedade Interbancária de Serviços), empresa que gere o sistema multibanco, para o lugar de ‘chairman’, sem funções executivas e com um salário inferior ao que ganhava até julho de 2014, altura em que trocou a SIBS pelo Novo Banco (mais de EUR 15 mil por mês). Depois de se ter demitido do Novo Banco, por discordâncias com as orientações do Governo que apontavam para uma venda da instituição o mais rapidamente possível, Vítor Bento regressou ao Banco de Portugal (é quadro superior), onde era consultor junto da administração. |
