Virgin Mobile América (NASDAQ GS:VA), a US-based telephony operator and subsidiary of UK-based Virgin (NASDAQ:VMED), may be planning its arrival in the Argentine market, reported PuntoBiz.com on 11 July, 2016. According to the report, Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones de Argentina, the country's communications regulator, already gave Virgin Mobile a virtual mobile operator license to be able to rent infrastructure from existing operators. The company may have also begun talks with Telefónica Argentina to replicate in Argentina the agreements it already has in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Peru, to compete with the market's main mobile operators.

Virgin Mobile América (NASDAQ GS:VA), operador de telefonía con sede en Estados Unidos y filial del grupo empresarial británico Virgin (NASDAQ: VMED), estaría planeando su llegada al mercado argentino, según ha informado PuntoBiz.com el 11 de julio de 2016. En concreto, el Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones de Argentina ya habría otorgado la licencia de operador móvil virtual a Virgin Mobile, para que pueda alquilar la infraestructura de operadores existentes. La entidad también habría iniciado conversaciones con Telefónica Argentina para replicar en el país los acuerdos que ya tiene en México, Colombia, Chile y Perú para poder competir con los principales operadores móviles del mercado. |
