Veolia Perú, an environmental water and waste management services provider and subsidiary of France-based Veolia, won a contract for the operation and maintenance of a desalination plant in the Cerro Lindo mining complex, in Ica, Peru, announced Veolia in a press release issued on 1 December, 2015. The complex is owned by Peru-based mining company Milpo (BVL:MILPOC1). The contract will be valid for a three-year period. The contract includes the collection and production of desalinized water through reverse osmosis, which it later sends to Cerro Lindo, 40 km from the plant.

Veolia Perú, prestadora de servicios de gestión ambiental de aguas y residuos y filial de la francesa Veolia, ha ganado el contrato de operación y mantenimiento de una planta desalinizadora en el complejo minero Cerro Lindo, en Ica, Perú, ha anunciado Veolia en una nota de prensa el 1 de diciembre de 2015. El complejo es propiedad de la minera peruana Milpo (BVL:MILPOC1). El contrato tendrá una duración de tres años. El contrato comprende la captación y producción de agua desalinizada por ósmosis inversa, que luego enviará a Cerro Lindo, a 40 km de la planta. |
