According to the media, Government of Venezuela has launched a campaign to obtain liquidity through the sale of oil assets abroad and obtaining new loans guaranteed through its US subsidiary Citgo. The Government is preparing the sale of a 49% stake in Refidomsa. (See related radar). In addition, it could also sell Jamaica's debt with Venezuela for oil subsidies received through Petrocaribe.

Según un medio de comunicación venezolano, el gobierno de Venezuela ha iniciado una campaña para tratar de conseguir liquidez a base de vender activos petroleros al exterior y contrayendo nuevos préstamos garantizados por su filial estadounidense Citgo. Entre las operaciones que están siendo preparadas por dicho gobierno, se encuentra la venta de su participación de 49% en Refidomsa. (Ver radar relacionado). También podría llevarse a cabo la venta de la deuda que Jamaica le debe a Venezuela por los subsidios petroleros que la isla recibe a través de Petrocaribe. |
