The government of Venezuela signed a commercial agreement with India-based pharmaceutical company Doctor Reddy's to promote drug production in the country, reported Venezolana de Televisión on 19 February, 2016 Specifically, the India-based company will set up a branch in Caracas with mixed capital to help increase drug production in Venezuela. The bi-national agreement was signed by Doctor Reddy's representatives and by Venezuela's minister of health, Luisana Melo.

El gobierno venezolano ha firmado un acuerdo comercial con la farmacéutica india Doctor Reddy's para reimpulsar la producción de medicamentos en el país, según ha informado Venezolana de Televisión el 19 de febrero de 2016. En concreto, la empresa india se instalará en Caracas con capital mixto para ayudar a incrementar la producción de medicamentos en Venezuela. El acuerdo binacional ha sido firmado por representantes de la farmacéutica y por la ministra del poder Popular para la Salud, Luisana Melo. |
