Una misión comercial de 25 empresarios uruguayos ha visitado Paraguay en búsqueda de alianzas con empresas locales para fortalecer la relación comercial entre los países, ha publicado La Nación el 26 de mayo de 2016, citando al embajador uruguayo en Paraguay, Federico Perazza.

En concreto, Perazza ha señalado que hay ciertas empresas uruguayas que quieren instalarse en Paraguay y buscan un distribuidor o importador en el país y otras que desean diversificar su producción y miran hacia Paraguay dado que se ha convertido en un mercado más dinámico.
