Synopsis

Unicaja Banco, a Spain-based bank, is in advanced talks to sell Gestión de Inmuebles Adquiridos - GIA, to Haya Real Estate, a real estate manager controlled by Cerberus, and Altamira, controlled by Apollo, reported Voxpópuli on 29 December 2016.

GIA is the platform that manages and sells the foreclosed residential assets of Unicaja. Its turnover was EUR 108m in 2015, 5% more than in the previous year. The company has assets with a net worth of EUR 1bn, according to figures from June, which, added to provisions, raise the company's value to EUR 2.7bn.

The sale of GIA is expected to close during the first weeks of 2017.

Unicaja Banco, entidad bancaria española, mantiene negociaciones avanzadas para la venta de Gestión de Inmuebles Adquiridos - GIA, con Haya Real Estate, inmobiliaria controlada por Cerberus, y Altamira, controlada por Apollo, según ha informado Voxpópuli el 29 de diciembre de 2016.

GIA es la plataforma que administra y vende los activos adjudicados residenciales de Unicaja. Su cifra de negocios fue de EUR 108m en 2015, un 5% más que el año anterior. La inmobiliaria acumula activos adjudicados por un valor neto de EUR 1.051m, según cifras de junio, que sumando provisiones elevan la tasación hasta los EUR 2.690m.

Está previsto que el traspaso de GIA se cierre durante las primeras semanas de 2017.
