According to Associação Brasileira de Proteína Animal (ABPA) vice-president of poultry division, Ricardo Santin, Brazil and the US could be negotiating opening the market for egg trade between the two countries, to enable the US to import Brazilian eggs. The news was published by Jornal o Globo on 14 July 2015. In the United States egg price increased significantly due to bird flu.

Segundo o vice-presidente de Aves, Ricardo Santin, da Associação Brasileira de Proteína Animal (ABPA), Brasil e os Estados Unidos estariam negociando a abertura do mercado de ovos entre os dois países para facilitar e acrescentar a importação de ovos brasileiros nos EUA. A notícia foi publicada pelo Jornal o Globo no dia 14 de julho de 2015. Nos Estados Unidos o preço dos ovos locais sofreu aumento relevante devido aos casos de gripe aviária que aconteceram no país. |
