US-based American Airlines and United Continental Holdings announced they will begin flights to and from Cuba, as reported by newspaper El Financiero on 20 July 2015.

These flights are a consequence of the reopening of Cuban Embassy in Washington, and US Embassy in Havana, Cuba.

Today regular flights between Cuba and the United States are still not allowed.

American Airlines, empresa dedicada a ofrecer servicios de transporte aéreo y United Continental Holdings, compañía aérea, ambas con sede en Estados Unidos, han declarado que reanudarán sus operaciones en Cuba, según ha publicado el periódico El Financiero el 20 de junio de 2015.

Este inicio de operaciones es debido a la reapertura de la embajada de Cuba en Washington, Estados Unidos y la embajada de Estados Unidos en La Habana, Cuba.

A día de hoy los vuelos regulares entre Cuba y Estados Unidos aún no están permitidos.
