UQM Technologies (NYSE:UQM), a Longmont, Colorado-based electric engine and generator manufacturer, announced its entry into South America in a partnership with Medellin, Colombia-based Creatti Labs, an engine and generator manufacturer, in a press release issued on 20 April, 2016. Through the new partnership, UQM Technologies and Creatti Labs aims to develop an electric transit bus platform for the major bus operators in the Colombian cities of Cali, Medellin, and Bogota, which boast the three most important transport systems in the country. The first operators to adopt the platform will be able to take advantage of UQM's electric transit bus technology to replace Colombia's outdated bus fleets.

UQM Technologies (NYSE:UQM), fabricante de motores eléctricos y generadores con sede en Longmont, Colorado, ha anunciado su entrada en Sudamérica en una alianza con la empresa colombiana Creatti Labs, fabricante de motores y generadores con sede en Medellín, en una nota de prensa publicada el 20 de abril de 2016. A través de esta nueva alianza, UQM Technologies y Creatti Labs tienen como objetivo el desarrollo de una plataforma de buses eléctricos para los principales operadores de buses en las ciudades colombianas de Cali, Medellín y Bogotá, que cuentan con los tres sistemas de transporte más importantes del país. Los primeros operadores que adopten esta plataforma podrán aprovechar la tecnología para buses eléctricos de UQM para reemplazar las anticuadas flotas de buses de Colombia. |
