UMC Electronics, a Japan-based electronics manufacturer, will launch operations in Mexico at the beginning of 2017 with an investment of USD 16.75m in a plant located in Jalisco, reported El Financiero on 23 September 2016, citing Jalisco Governor Aristóteles Sandoval.

Specifically, the company will set up its plant in the town of Lagos de Moreno, in industrial park Parque Industrial Colinas de Lagos.

UCM Electronics CEO Uchiyama Shigeki noted the company chose Jalisco given its strategic location and the administrative facilities and legal certainty provided by the state government.

UMC Electronics, fabricante japonesa de artículos electrónicos, comenzará a operar en México a principios de 2017 con una inversión de USD 16,75m en una planta ubicada en Jalisco, ha publicado El Financiero el 23 de septiembre de 2016, citando al gobernador del estado, Aristóteles Sandoval.

En concreto, la empresa se instalará en el municipio de Lagos de Moreno, en el Parque Industrial Colinas de Lagos.

El CEO de UCM Electronics, Uchiyama Shigeki, ha señalado que la empresa ha elegido a Jalisco por su ubicación estratégica y por las facilidades administrativas y la certeza jurídica que ofrece el gobierno estatal.
