English entrepreneur Toby Esser, global president of Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC), landed in São Paulo last Wednesday to announce the intention of investing USD 50m in Brazil. He said that, Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC) is currently in 'due diligence' process by five companies and acquisitions should be announced in the next two months. According to Fabio Basilone, president of the CGSC Brasil, the group wants to expand its geographic reach through acquisitions, mainly in the Northeast, the Midwest and the South of Brazil. These acquisitions target insurance advisory firms, companies that bridge small brokers and insurers. The group also is looking at opportunities in Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Colombia in the insurance advisory area.

Los directivos de Cooper Gay Swett y Crawford (CGSC) han anunciado inversiones por USD 50m en diferentes geografías: Chile, México, Brasil, Argentina y Colombia. Según Fabio Basilone, presidente del CGSC Brasil, el grupo quiere ampliar su alcance geográfico para tener acceso a pequeñas compañías de seguros.

Presidente mundial da Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC), o inglês Toby Esser desembarcou em São Paulo na última quarta-feira para anunciar investimentos de USD 50m na operação do país. Segundo ele a empresa, atualmente Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC) está no processo de 'due dilligence' de cinco empresas e devemos anunciar aquisições nos próximos dois meses. Segundo Fabio Basilone, presidente da CGSC do Brasil, o grupo quer expandir seu alcance geográfico com as aquisições, principalmente para o Nordeste, o Centro-Oeste e o Sul do país. O alvo das compras são assessorias de seguros, empresas que fazem a ponte entre pequenos corretores e seguradoras. O grupo também prospecta oportunidades na Argentina, México, Chile e Colômbia na área de assessoria de seguros. |
