Transchile, a Santiago-based power transmission company, announced the election of a new board and CEO in a filing published by regulator Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros on 6 October 2016. Specifically, the company's shareholders appointed Alfonso Barona Miguez, Luis Alvargonzález Díaz-Negrete, Javier Villa Paredes, Juan Carlos Bullón Alemán, Jerónimo Olleros Vázquez, and Gonzalo Velasco Zabalza to the board of directors. Meanwhile, the new board appointed Javier Villa Paredes CEO. The changes in the company occurred following the closing of the acquisition of 100% of Transchile by Spain-based Ferrovial (BME:FER) (see related transaction).

Transchile, empresa dedicada a la transmisión de energía eléctrica con sede en Santiago, ha anunciado la renovación total de su directorio y la designación de un nuevo gerente general en un hecho relevante publicado por la Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros el 6 de octubre de 2016 En concreto, los accionistas de la empresa han designado como directores a Alfonso Barona Miguez, Luis Alvargonzález Díaz-Negrete, Javier Villa Paredes, Juan Carlos Bullón Alemán, Jerónimo Olleros Vázquez y Gonzalo Velasco Zabalza. Por su parte, el nuevo directorio ha designado a Javier Villa Paredes como gerente general. Los cambios en la empresa suceden tras el cierre de la adquisición del 100% de Transchile por la española Ferrovial (BME:FER) (ver transacción relacionada). |
