Totalplay, a Mexico City-based telecoms company, is interested in participating in the tender of a shared telecoms network in Mexico, reported Reuters Latin America on 3 July, 2015, citing president Eduardo Kuri. Kuri explained that Totalplay has the capacity to participate in the project, even though it does not own spectrum. The network will operate in the 700-MHz spectrum and will be worth USD 7bn. Mexico's government is expected to launch the tender in October, 2015. Kuri also announced Totalplay is not interested in using the last mile of the network operated by Telmex, given the technologies both companies use are incompatible. On 30 June, the federal telecoms institute (IFT) established the conditions to unbundle the network (see related intel). Teleplay is a subsidiary of Mexico City-based holding, Grupo Salinas.

Totalplay, empresa de telecomunicaciones con sede en México D.F., estaría interesada en participar de la licitación de una red compartida de telecomunicaciones en México, ha publicado Reuters América Latina el 3 de julio de 2015, citando a su director, Eduardo Kuri. Kuri explicó que Totalplay tiene la capacidad para participar en el proyecto, aunque no posea espectro. La red, que el gobierno mexicano licitaría en octubre de 2015, operará en el espectro de 700 MHz y tendrá un valor de USD 7.000m. Kuri también anunció que Totalplay no está interesada en utilizar la última milla de la red de Telmex, dado que las tecnologías que usa cada empresa son incompatibles. El 30 de junio, el Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) estableció las condiciones de desagregación de la red (ver intel relacionado).
