Fullgas, a Mexico-based fuel distributor, will launch Texaco's operations in Mexico. US-based fuel distributor, Texaco is a subsidiary of Chevron (NYSE: CVX), reported El Economista on 21 October 2016, citing FullGas CEO Sebastián Figueroa. Texaco plans its entry in Mexico partnered with FullGas in 2H17, and will analyze which of the 60 FullGas service stations will operate under the Texaco brand. Figueroa cited that FullGas also evaluates to buy Texaco's franchise to sell its rights to third parties to operate branded stations.

FullGas, distribuidora de combustible con sede en México, ha anunciado el desembarco en México de Texaco, distribuidora de combustible con sede en Estados Unidos y propiedad de Chevron (NYSE:CVX), según ha informado El Economista el 21 de octubre de 2016, citando al director general de FullGas, Sebastián Figueroa. Texaco planea llegar a México de la mano de FullGas en el segundo semestre del 2017 y se analizarán cuáles de las 60 estaciones de servicio de FullGas operarán bajo la marca Texaco. Por su parte, Figueroa ha asegurado que FullGas también evalúa comprar la franquicia maestra de Texaco para vender a terceros los derechos para operar estaciones de la marca. |
