Telefónica (BME: TEF), a Spain-based telecoms company, is said to have reactivated the sale of Telefé, its Argentina-based TV company, reported Expansión on 9 June, 2016. Specifically, Telefónica may be in talks with US-based Turner International for the sale of its TV business in Argentina for approximately USD 400m (see related transaction). However, sources from the industry noted that, given the interest shown by Turner, Telefónica has begun to receive bids from other international groups interested in Telefé, allowing the Spain-based company to study various proposals.

Telefónica (BME: TEF), empresa española de telecomunicaciones, habría reactivado la venta de Telefé, su empresa de televisión en Argentina, según ha informado Expansión el 9 de junio de 2016. En concreto, Telefónica estaría en negociaciones con el grupo norteamericano Turner International, para la venta de su negocio televisivo en Argentina, por una cifra que ronda los USD 400m, aproximadamente (ver transacción relacionada). Sin embargo, fuentes del sector han señalado que, a raíz del interés mostrado por el grupo Turner, también estarían llegado más ofertas de otros grupos internacionales interesados en la compañía, lo que está permitiendo a la empresa española evaluar las diferentes propuestas. |
