El regulador de telecomunicaciones de Brasil exigirá a Telecom Italia que venda su operador de telefonía móvil en el país, TIM Participações, si Telefónica adquiere el 100% de Telco, primer accionista de la empresa italiana. Telecom Italia es la propietaria de la operadora de telefonía móvil TIM, compañía que compite en el mercado brasileño con Vivo, la filial de Telefónica en aquel país.

A Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel) exigirá a venda da TIM Participações em 2014, se a Telefónica assumir o controle da Telco. Assim, se a Telefónica tiver 100 por cento da Telco, holding que controla a Telecom Italia, dona da TIM, a companhia espanhola, dona da Vivo, teria que devolver as faixas de frequencia da TIM. |
