Telefónica (BME:TFE), a Spain-based telecommunications company, could sell Telefé, an Argentine TV channel, for approximately EUR 400m in 4Q16, reported El Economista on 19 September 2016, citing sources familiar. Some of the companies interested in the acquisition would be US-based Time Warner (NYSE:TWX) and Viacom (NYSE:VIA), as well as Venezuela-based Cisneros Group (see related intel).
