Telefónica (BME:TEF), a Spain-based telecommunications company, is negotiating and analyzing bids received to acquire a stake in its infrastructure subsidiary Telxius, announced the company in a filing published by regulator Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores) on 10 February 2017.

Telefónica suspended an initial strategy of floating the subsidiary on the stock market given it considered the implicit valuation of the company that appeared in the received purchase orders was not adequate and did not reflect the true value of Telxius.

Some of the companies and investment funds which may be interested in the stake are GIC, CVC, Ardian, KKR (NYSE:KKR), Cellnex Telecom (BME:CLNX) and American Towers (NYSE:AMT).

Telefónica (BME:TEF), empresa española de telecomunicaciones, se encuentra en proceso de negociación y análisis de las ofertas recibidas para adquirir una participación se su filial de infraestructuras, Telxius, según ha informado la empresa en un hecho relevante remitido a la Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) el 10 de febrero de 2017.

Telefónica suspendió la estrategia inicial de sacar a Bolsa la filial al considerar que la valuación implícita de la empresa que aparecía en las órdenes de compra recibidas no era adecuada y no reflejaba el verdadero valor de Telxius.

Algunas de las empresas y fondos de inversión que podrían estar interesados en la participación son GIC, CVC, Ardian, KKR (NYSE: KKR), Cellnex Telecom (BME: CLNX) y American Towers (NYSE: AMT).
