Tecnoglass (NASDAQ:TGLS), a Colombia-based glass manufacturer, expressed its interest in making future acquisitions in Panama, reported La República on 7 December 2016, citing Tecnoglass COO Christian Daes. After announcing the recent acquisition of US-based E.S. Windows for USD 13m (see related transaction), the next step for Tecnoglass will be to acquire a company affiliate in Panama to continue the vertical integration of the services it offers. Although a sum has not been defined, it would be a quarter of what was invested in the US company.

Tecnoglass (NASDAQ: TGLS), empresa colombiana dedicada a la fabricación de vidrio, ha manifestado su interés en realizar futuras adquisiciones en Panamá, según ha informado La República el 7 de diciembre de 2016, citando al COO de Tecnolgass, Christian Daes. Luego de anunciar la reciente compra de la planta E.S. Windows en Estados Unidos, por un valor de USD 13m (ver Transacción relacionada), el siguiente paso que dará Tecnoglass será comprar una compañía afiliada en Panamá para continuar integrando verticalmente los servicios que ofrecen. Aunque el monto aún no se ha definido, sería una cuarta parte de lo que se ha invertido en la compañía estadounidense. |
