Supertex, a Colombia-based manufacturer of textiles, announced the launch of its operations in Nicaragua with an investment of USD 8m, reported W Radio on 14 February 2017, citing a ProNicaragua press release. Specifically, the company is at the stage of creation of a company and in talks to obtain an industrial space to occupy. It plans to launch operations starting July 2017. With this new plant, Supertex is setting up its third factory in Central America and plans to add 1,500 new jobs in its first three years.

Supertex, empresa colombiana dedicada a la fabricación de textiles, ha anunciado su desembarco en Nicaragua con una inversión de USD 8m, según ha informado W Radio el 14 de febrero de 2017, citando un comunicado de ProNicaragua. En concreto, la compañía se encuentra en la etapa de constitución de la sociedad y negociación del espacio industrial a ocupar y planea iniciar operaciones a partir de julio de 2017. Con este nueva planta, Supertex establecerá la tercera fábrica de Centroamérica y planea sumar 1.500 nuevos empleos en sus primeros tres años. |
