Next week, Sul América should announce a tender for the sale of its high-risk insurance portfolio. Two years ago, the insurance company began a divestment process of this portfolio, which at the time had a large amount of payments of claims, compromising its business. In a statement released yesterday, Sul América informed it hired an advisory firm to analyze strategic opportunities for this portfolio. The firm is Itaú BBA. A SulAmérica deve iniciar na próxima semana uma concorrência para a venda da sua carteira de seguros de grandes riscos. Há cerca de dois anos, a seguradora começou um processo de limpeza desse portfólio, que na época apresentava alto volume de pagamentos de indenizações, o que comprometia o resultado do negócio. Em comunicado ao mercado divulgado ontem, a Sul América informou que contratou assessoria para avaliar oportunidades estratégicas com relação à carteira de seguros de grandes riscos. A seguradora contratou o Itaú BBA para assessorá-la na transação. Algumas seguradoras receberam na semana passada um prospecto do banco de investimentos. |
