Suez Environnement (Euronext Paris: SEV), a France-based water treatment company, is said to be considering returning to the Argentine market, reported Bloomberg on 23 June, 2016, citing sources familiar with the company. According to the report, Suez Environnement held meetings with the administration of Argentine president, Mauricio Macri, to analyze investment opportunities in the country. Though Suez Environnement has not specifically decided in which Argentine projects it would invest, it is likely executives from the multinational will visit Buenos Aires in September and may make an announcement during an investment conference organized by the Macri administration.

En concreto, Suez Environnement habría mantenido conversaciones con el gobierno del presidente argentino, Mauricio Macri, con el objetivo de analizar oportunidades de inversión en el país, según han informado fuentes cercanas a la compañía francesa. Aunque Suez Environnement no ha decidido específicamente en qué proyectos invertiría en Argentina, es probable que ejecutivos de la multinacional visiten Buenos Aires en septiembre y quizá hagan un anuncio en la conferencia de inversiones organizada por el gobierno de Macri. |
