Stella Barros, Brazilian company headquartered in São Paulo and controlled by Grupo Águia, will return to the Brazilian tourism sector, after closing down its activities in 2003 due to its debt situation. The company will open two new stores, one in NorteShopping in Rio de Janeiro, and the other in São Paulo, with a BRL 5m investment, as reported by newspaper Brasil Econômico in an article published on 27 May 2015. According to Grupo Águia's CEO Paulo Castello Branco, the decision to operate again under brand Stella Barros was taken last year, when the company noticed many clients had not forgotten the brand.

A companhia brasileira Stella Barros, com sede em São Paulo, controlada pelo Grupo Águia, vai voltar a operar no setor turístico brasileiro, após haver encerrado atividades em 2003 devido à situação de endividamento que sofreram, abrindo duas novas lojas, uma no NorteShopping, Rio de Janeiro, e a outra em São Paulo. O investimento para a abertura das lojas será de BRL 5m. A notícia foi publicada no jornal Brasil Econômico no dia 27 de maio de 2015. Segundo o Presidente Executivo do Grupo Águia, Paulo Castello Branco, a decisão de começar de novo a atuar com a marca Stella Barros foi tomada no ano passado ao ver perceber que antigos clientes não haviam esquecido dela. |
