Steinhoff International (FWB / JSE: SNH), a South African group, confirmed that it has no interest in acquiring a stake in Via Varejo (BVMF: VVAR3), reported Valor Econômico on 7 December 2016, citing the president of Company Markus Jooste. During a teleconference about the quarter results, Jooste revealed that the company has no interest in merger and acquisition agreements in South America (see related intel).
