Statoil Brasil, an oil production and exploration company, is interested in acquiring more oil assets in Petrobras (BVMF: ptr3, PETR4, PBRA; BME: XPBR; NYSE: PBRA), reported Exame on 16 August 2016. Statoil Brasil announced the acquisition of 66% stake in Petrobras Oil Block BM-S-8 in July (see related transaction). The company will invest approximately USD 5bn in other oil blocks if Petrobras is interested in repeating the sales model, the report noted.

A Statoil Brasil, que atua na exploração e produção de petróleo, está interessada em adquirir mais ativos petrolíferos da Petrobras (BVMF:PTR3, PETR4, PBRA; BME:XPBR; NYSE:PBRA), segundo publicou a Exame em 16 de agosto de 2016. A Statoil Brasil anunciou a aquisição da participação de 66% no Bloco Petrolífero BM-S-8 da Petrobras em julho (ver transação relacionada). De acordo com a publicação, a empresa poderá investir cerca de USD 5bi em outros blocos petrolíferos caso a Petrobras tem interesse em repetir o modelo de venda. |
