Spain-based Springfield, a manufacturer and distributor of clothing, opened its first store in Guatemala, as published by web portal Modaes.es on 30 November 2015. Specifically, Springfield, controlled by Cortefiel, opened its first store in shopping mall Miraflores, in Guatemala City. In addition and after its expansion in Central America, Cortefiel expects to open approximately 200 stores worldwide, half of them directly and the other half through local partners.

La empresa española Springfield, dedicada a la fabricación y distribución de ropa, ha abierto una nueva tienda en Guatemala, según ha señalado el portal Modaes.es en una información del 30 de noviembre de 2015. En concreto, la firma Springfield, propiedad de grupo Cortefiel, ha establecido la primera tienda del país en el centro comercial Miraflores, en Ciudad de Guatemala. Además, el grupo Cortefiel prevé llevar a cabo, después de la expansión por Centroamérica, unas doscientas aperturas a nivel internacional, la mitad de forma directa y la otra mitad de la mano de socios locales. |
