Intel ID : 220598
Synopsis

UK-based private equity firm CVC Capital Parners could acquire a stake held by a group of Spanish private shareholders, in Formula E Holdings, which controls the rights in Formula E (a competition similar to Formula 1, for electric cars).

However, the visible names in the group of shareholders, Alejandro Agag and Enrique Bañuelos, are not in agreement regarding the sale. While Agag wants to take advantage of the situation and be replaced in Formula E Holdings shareholding by CVC Capital Partners, Bañuelos prefers to wait to maximize the value of Formula E before selling.
