The commercial office of the Spanish embassy in Guatemala noted there are negotiations underway for new Spain-based franchises to arrive in the country, reported El Periódico on 3 December, 2015. According to the entity, companies such as Desigual and Mango may enter Guatemala in 2016, as well as other footwear and clothing franchises. With regards to hydroelectric and wind energy companies, Guatemala's Instituto Nacional de Electrificación - INDE is studying ways to attract investment for sectors, such as water management and sanitation, to carry out projects with private Spain-based companies.

La oficina comercial de la Embajada de España en Guatemala ha informado que hay negociaciones para que lleguen nuevas franquicias españolas al país, según ha anunciado El Periódico el 3 de diciembre de 2015. Según la entidad ibérica, empresas como Desigual o Mango podrían llegar al país centroamericano en 2016, al igual que otras franquicias de calzado y moda. En cuanto a empresas de generación eólica e hidroeléctricas, se ha estudiado atraer la inversión en áreas de agua o saneamiento por parte del Instituto Nacional de Electrificación - INDE para realizar un proyecto de inversión privada con una empresa española. |
