Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV), a Dallas, Texas-based airline, submitted a request before the U.S. Department of Transportation to arrive in Mexico with direct flights, reported El Economista on 13 July 2016, citing Southwest Airlines VP Leah Koontz.

The request is subject to government approvals. Once approved, the flights will be operated between Oakland International Airport and Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV), con sede en Dallas, Texas, ha presentado ante el Departamento de Transporte de Estados Unidos la solicitud para llegar con vuelos directos a México, según ha informado El Economista el 13 de julio de 2016, citando al vicepresidente de la aerolínea, Leah Koontz.

La solicitud está sujeta a las aprobaciones gubernamentales y, una vez aprobada, los vuelos operarán entre el Aeropuerto Internacional de Oakland a Los Cabos y Puerto Vallarta, México.
